Ancient Audio Single Solid

The core power amplifier is solid-state, designed to operate in single-ended Class-A mode for low-level signals. Its build quality and sonic features deliver a lush, rich presentation with nearly any loudspeaker. The sound profile offers everything we appreciate in tube-based devices, including a warm, “golden” treble, a powerful, textured midrange, and a full, resonant bass. Its performance provides a unique depth of sound and soundstage.

The amplifier features a dual-mono topology, powered by a 100,000 μF set of fast capacitors and a shared dual-winding toroidal power supply.

It includes four line-level analog inputs as well as two digital S/PDIF inputs, compatible with PCM signals from 16-24 bits and 44.1 to 212 kHz.

The integrated Digital Speaker Processor minimizes speaker imperfections, and for added convenience, it supports up to 128 unique settings for various speaker configurations. In future versions, the processor may be removable to allow easy updates to speaker data correction.
