Apollo XIII loudspeakers are supplied with a specifically design stand for an optimal aesthetic and functional fit.
Stainless steel and carbon fiber are combined in an elegant design for creating a modern piece of art where the loudspeaker and the stand form a distinctive proposition.
Thanks to Le Soprano Audio long experience as designers and producers of acoustic percussion instruments we’re familiar with resonances and what makes them to sound outstanding. We developed a remarkable sensitivity to all the countless sound details in the tuning of our instruments and this is what we exploit in our developments.
Our stand is a resonant cylinder, like a drum, with a tuned ‘thundering’ chamber.
The working principle is the sound transmission form the woofer vertically positioned on the bottom of the speaker, down firing toward the resonant chamber.
This is a sort of passive amplification, when you play an instrument closer to another you’ll notice the empowering of the sound thanks to sympathetic vibrations.
This is a further tool in the hand of the designer for achieving the best sonic performances.
Such resonant stand makes a relevant difference in the listening experience pushing it to the highest levels.
