The Canto Grand Mark II are built around an 18 cm Danish Scan Speak driver with a fiberglass membrane. The speaker basket is made of lightweight metals. The tweeter is from Morel, it has a 28 mm membrane coated with a resonance-damping substance, the coil is made of aluminum, copper wire, and the front panel is also made of lightweight metals.
The crossovers are divided into two printed circuit boards, the upper being the high-frequency section which includes second-order filters with a slope of 12 dB/octave. The printed circuit board with the lower section contains elements: coil, resistor, and capacitor. The crossover filter division is 2600 Hz. The RLC components are from German Intertechnik. The connection terminals are single and have solid connectors.
The monitors are a ventilated system. The bass-reflex port has a diameter of 55 mm at the inlet and 60 mm at the outlet, with a tunnel length of 16 cm. The enclosure is made from 19 mm thick MDF boards, assembled at a 45-degree angle, with a cross-brace inside. The columns are finished with natural veneer: American walnut, black oak. For an additional charge, we provide high gloss paints and exotic veneers. The entire surface is covered with a porous lacquer and feels like a surface under which the wood structure can be felt. The lacquer itself is satin, semi-matte. Grilles are standard equipment for the columns, mounted with neodymium magnets hidden in the structure of the housing.
